Conklin Architecture is a small but passionate team of Catskill architects rooted in New York’s Catskills region. We design spaces that feel connected to their surroundings with the goal of creating places that are functional, beautiful, and built to last. Whether we’re working on a Catskills retreat, an Adirondack lake house, or a light-filled commercial space, our goal is always to create architecture that reflects both the client and the character of the region.
Founded in 2014 by Kevin Conklin, RA, our firm has grown from a one-person practice into a collaborative studio of six. We’ve designed everything from custom second homes and mountain getaways to ski resorts, golf course facilities, restaurants, and adaptive reuse projects. That variety keeps our work fresh, and makes us adaptable to projects of all sizes, styles, and levels of complexity.

Architectural Designer
Erik Pereyra
Darren graduated with a Bachelor of Architecture from Alfred State College in 2023. After a few years of interning with Conklin Architecture, Darren recently joined the office Full Time. His experience includes residential & commercial projects and participates in all aspects of a projects success.
Aside from relaxing with family, Darren enjoys time outdoors, participating in the car scenery, and riding dirt bikes with friends during his free time.

Michael graduated with a Master’s in Architecture from Wentworth Institute of Technology in 2018. With several years of experience in residential & light commercial projects with Conklin Architecture. Michael assists in projects from inception to completion.
He enjoys relaxing with friends and family, running, working on his car, and snowboarding in his free time.

MICHAEL BONADONNA III
Ashley received her Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture from the University of Buffalo. With over ten years experience in high-end residential, multi-family, hospitality, commercial, educational facilities & adaptive re-use projects. Her projects can be found from New York City through the Adirondacks.
When Ashley isn’t working, she enjoys spending time with her Husband Brad their son & their dog. Her hobbies include traveling, cooking & spending time with family & friends.

ASHLEY RUBINO
Kevin graduated from Alfred State College with a BS in Architectural Technology in 2002. He then received his license to practice Architecture in New York in September of 2014 and started Conklin Architecture in the Spring of 2015. He has 20 years of experience in high-end residential and commercial design.
In Kevin’s free time, he can be found skiing with his wife and daughters, traveling, or participating in an off-road Jeep adventure in the Northeast.
