Diamond Street — Designed by an Urban Townhouse Architect

Located in a bustling Upstate New York neighborhood, Diamond Street is a compact yet bold residential project designed by an experienced urban townhouse architect. This home reimagines the classic townhouse typology with modern proportions, efficient spatial planning, and a crisp, contemporary exterior.

The design balances density and privacy, with a clean vertical layout that maximizes a tight urban lot. Large windows and strategically placed skylights bring natural light into all levels, creating a sense of openness within a narrow footprint. The interior layout is intuitive and flexible—ideal for modern living in a walkable downtown environment.

The facade features contrasting materials and strong geometric lines, offering a modern statement that still feels contextual within the neighborhood. Inside, finishes are clean, warm, and understated, putting the focus on function, flow, and comfort.

As urban townhouse architects, our goal with Diamond Street was to elevate small-footprint living through smart design. This project demonstrates how thoughtful architecture can bring space, light, and sophistication to the city housing experience—without compromise.
